For real-life card games · Manual tracking

They play a card. You tap it.

Card Counter does the counting for you. When someone plays, tap that rank on your phone and the cards left of every rank show right on the card. Are the jokers gone? How many 2s are still out there? One glance tells you.

Before you download

A scorepad, not a cheat.

It is

  • A card tracker for games around a real table: you tap each card yourself
  • Fine for any table and any number of players
  • Everything stays on your phone

It is not

  • An auto tracker that reads a game on your screen
  • A plug-in for online card game apps
  • A way to see anyone else's hand

Games

One deck to four, eight games.

Each game knows its own hands: full houses and four of a kind in Big Two, airplanes and rockets in Dou Dizhu, plates, straight flushes and wild level cards in Guan Dan.

  • 01Big Two1 deck · also Cho Dai Di
  • 02Dou Dizhu1 deck · Fight the Landlord
  • 03Dou Dizhu2 decks · 4 players
  • 04Guan Dan2 decks · wild cards
  • 05Pao Dekuai1 deck · Run Fast

Try it

Tap a card, count a card.

This is the app's table, and it works. The big number is how many of that rank are left; it greys out when they're gone. Switch the bar to pairs, triples or bombs and one tap takes that many.

Features

At the table, all you do is tap.

Cards left, on the card

Every rank shows how many are left. The fewer remain, the redder the number, and a rank that's gone greys out with a tick.

A whole hand in one go

Pairs, triples and bombs take one tap. Drag across the table for straights, pair runs and airplanes. Anything else, like four with two, goes in as a combo.

Play history

Every hand of the game, in order, with who played it and what kind of hand it was. Lost track? Scroll back.

Track players

Add players in seat order and the turn moves on after each hand. See how many cards each player holds, flagged red at one or two.

Spoken taps

Turn on voice and every tap is read aloud, so you know it counted without looking down.

Offline, no ads

The whole game is tracked on your phone. No account, no data collected, no ads.

Inside the app

Table, history, players. All in view.

How it works

Three steps to deal in.

  1. Pick a game

Big Two, Dou Dizhu, Guan Dan… the table is laid out with the right number of decks.

  2. Add players (optional)

Turn on player tracking and add everyone in seat order. The turn rotates by itself.

  3. Tap as cards are played

Undo a mistake, start fresh when the game ends. That's it.

No, and it never will. Card Counter is for card games around a real table. It doesn't read your screen or connect to any card game app. If you play online, please don't buy it.

Does it need the internet? Does it collect data?

No internet needed, except to buy or restore purchases on the App Store. Your games stay on your phone. The app collects no data and shows no ads.

How much does it cost?

It's free to download, with 3 free games a day. If you like it, buy the game types you play. Each is a one-time purchase.

Do I pay again on a new phone?

No. Sign in with the same Apple Account, open the side menu and tap Restore Previous Purchase.
